What we store about you
When you message a business that uses Vendu, we store: your platform identifier (the Instagram-scoped or app-scoped user id), your display name and username/handle, your profile picture, the text of the messages you send, any attachments (images, voice notes, files), and any order you place through the conversation (items, delivery address, order status).
This data belongs to the business you messaged, not to Vendu — Vendu processes it on that business's behalf to run the conversation.
Two ways to delete it
Automatic: remove Vendu's access in your Instagram or Facebook settings (Settings → Apps and websites → Vendu → Remove). Meta then sends us an automatic deletion request for your account — you do not need to contact anyone.
Manual: email support with your Instagram username or user id and ask for your data to be deleted. We will locate every conversation across every business that uses Vendu and process the request the same way.

How long it takes
We process deletion requests without undue delay, and in any case within 30 days of receiving them.
What gets deleted, what stays
Deleted: your name, username, profile picture, the text of your messages, and any attachments.
Kept, but no longer tied to you: aggregate, anonymized counters (e.g. "this business handled 42 conversations this month") and the accounting record of any paid order, where the business's own legal or tax obligations require keeping it. Shipping details on that order (name, address, phone) are erased; the amount and status are not, because removing them would break the business's books.
